Gabel Cobra Re-Volution Wired Trekking Poles
Gabel Cobra Re-Volution are ultra-light (175 g per pole) folding hiking poles designed for Nordic Walking. The model is made of exclusive Gabel Snake Carbon and has a compact, foldable design, part of the brand Nordic Walking Performance Extensible product series.
The construction of the Escape Carbon Tour is foldable and consists of three cable sections with a diameter of 16 and 14 mm. The upper section is height-adjustable by means of an internal expander with two contact points to ensure maximum holding force (T.P.L. Top performance locking). Thanks to this mechanism and the patented Twist Lock technology, the length of the rod varies between 105 cm to 130 cm when unfolded, but is only 52 cm when folded. The model is made of so-called Snake Carbon. This is Gabel's exclusive technology of harder, more durable and lighter carbon fiber than the competition. Snake Carbon allows you to create a product that is 20% more resistant to shocks and breakage, and 18% lighter than ordinary carbon rods. In the process of manufacturing the crystallization of carbon fibers acquires a specific geometric and graphic structure type "snake skin" patern.
The ergonomic and comfortable Scandinavian handle (GRIP) is made of natural cork to absorb sweat and prevent hand irritation. The strap is designed as a comfortable glove for absolute control and comfort during intensive use. With the built-in Nordic Click System (N.C.S.) it is possible to release the strap by simply pressing a button located on the top of the handle. For greater safety, even during evening and night walks, a reflective sticker (REFLEX) is affixed to the stick. Last but not least, the tip of the poles is made of lightweight tungsten carbide (Carbide), which ensures long life and excellent traction to various surfaces.
