The Kayland Stellar AD GTX is an ultra-lightweight, high-altitude crampon shoe ideal for use on rock, mixed terrain, snow, ice and for climbing.
A very innovative model, the Stellar AD GTX is technical mountaineering boot that gets a new level of comfort, through the skilful use of layers. The secret is the new construction technique of the sole block: the foot is directly welcomed by the soft PU midsole, to increase to the maximum the benefits of cushioning also in terms of support, as well as impact with the roughness. The Vibram Stellar outsole and its large studs ensure excellent grip on all types of terrain and in all weather conditions. The sole unit contains an integrated welt to take semi-automatic crampons.
The Stellar AD GTX also features Gore-tex Performance membrane that keeps your feet dry and well-ventilated even in the rain. The Smart Lace System is fast and ensures a snug fit, with a double lace stopper button to maximize performance and ensure an outstandingly precise fit, which is further enhanced by the highly advanced asymmetrical positioning of the closure that allows correct flex. The Kayland Ankle Lock Technology system protects the ankle and holds it firmly in place but allows natural movement. The heel is well anchored and ergonomic padding prevents blisters.
